PTO Meeting
Join us this Tuesday, May 2nd for our KMS PTO Meeting from 7-8pm via Zoom. We will present & discuss a proposed PTO Budget for the 2023/24 school year.
Kennedy Color Run
The Color Run fundraiser is underway and we have raised $12,394 so far! A reminder that this is the last week for donations to your personal fundraising page counting toward raffle tickets. Students will earn 1 raffle ticket for every $25 raised to their personal fundraising pages through May 7th. They can enter these tickets into the prize raffle of their choice at the Color Run for a chance to win these awesome prizes: PS5 and games, Nintendo Switch OLED Bundle, AirPods Pro, Beats Studio3 Headphones, and LOTS of gift cards (Starbucks, Cinemark, H&M, Hollister, PacSun, Amazon, and more…)! This is the only way to earn raffle tickets.
You should have already received an email that included the link to your student’s personal fundraising page through 99 Pledges. You can also find it by searching for your student’s name on our main fundraiser page:

Share the link to your personal fundraising page with friends, family and neighbors to collect donations that support important programs at Kennedy.
There are additional prizes for students who raise the most donations by the end of our fundraiser (May 14th). 1st place = $50 Target gift card / 2nd place = $25 Target gift card. These prizes will be doubled if we can meet or exceed our fundraising goal of $20,000!
Tips for Raising More Donations:
- Share: Send the link to your personal fundraising page to friends and family via email and text.
- Post: Link to your personal fundraising page to Facebook or Instagram. Ask your friends and family to share your link.
- In Person: Make it easy for people to donate when you see them in person by creating a QR code that links to your personal fundraising page. You can do this at https://www.qrcode-monkey.com/ Save the QR code to your phone. More information: https://kennedycougarspto.org/color-run-student-info
Our Color Run will be held Friday, May 12! This is our largest fundraising event of the year (and also the most fun). We will need a lot of volunteer help throughout the day to make this possible. Please sign up to help at the link below:

Donations for 8th Grade Events & Activities
The Kennedy school & KMS PTO fund all 8th grade activities & events at KMS so that ALL students have equal access to those events & activities. We do ask each family to contribute $75, or whatever they can, to offset the nearly $25k cost of the 8th grade events this year.
Make your contribution online through PayPal or the PTO online store. If you make your payment online, please include a note with the name of your student. You may also pay by check by leaving it in the PTO box in the school office. Please note your student’s name on the check.
