We are excited to announce that this fall, Kennedy Middle School will hold its first ever online auction. We hope to provide a variety of different items to bid on, including gift cards for local restaurants and entertainment, handmade jewelry, and unique services. Check out the list of generous businesses that are supporting our community!
Though the auction is still a month away (Nov. 11-20), we are still looking for any items or services you’d like to DONATE, or if you know of any businesses who you think would be interested in donating. Also, if you are interested in helping with the event, please contact email@example.com.
The money raised will go towards Kennedy’s first ever STEM Fair for ALL students, purchasing new musical instruments, and other KMS PTO sponsored activities and services.
Our students have unlimited potential and it is our hope to be able to provide them with the tools and experiences to enrich their education while at Kennedy. Community participation is fundamental in raising the funds needed for our school and we hope this auction is proof that the Kennedy community can step up and support their students, teachers, and programs.

Kennedy Grants Writing Committee: Call for Volunteers
Parent volunteers are forming a committee to assist the school in identifying and applying for grants that could benefit Kennedy students. We are looking for additional volunteers to help with grant writing and coordination. Grant writing can be done from home and the number of volunteer hours can be flexible, depending on availability. If you would like more information about joining this committee, please contact Sonia Pelkowski (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Graduation Dance Committee
The 8th grade Graduation Dance Committee needs to begin planning for Kennedy’s 2016-17 grads’ big night in June 2017. We currently do not have a committee in place and are looking for a chair or co-chairs to plan a special themed evening for our grads. We already have someone who has volunteered to do food for the night and someone to pre-sell grad sweatshirts/shirts. Please reply to email@example.com if interested.
