Important Information for 8th Grade Families!

For our graduating 8th grade students, June 7th will arrive before we all know it. There are 3 items we want to bring to your immediate attention:

1. CONTRIBUTE!! CONTRIBUTE!! CONTRIBUTE!!

These events cost money – Please contribute. A $75 CONTRIBUTION from each student will ensure that all 8th grade students have the opportunity to participate in the graduation events that have been established by Principal Adler, the JFK PTO Board, and the Graduation Dance Committee. The graduation events include an outing to Great America, graduation gown cleaning and the Graduation Dance. Without your financial assistance, these events will not be possible. This $75 CONTRIBUTION is due no later than April 6th . All funding must be in place by April 6th to ensure each event has the full resources it needs. Contributions can be made at the Kennedy STORE.  Please make sure you enter your child’s name on the donation!! Cash or check payments may be dropped off in the school office in the PTO Lock box.

2. VOLUNTEER!! VOLUNTEER!! VOLUNTEER!!

8th Grade Parent Chaperones are required for the picnic and the Great America Outing. 6th and 7th grade parent chaperones are needed for Graduation Dance. The Graduation Dance requires all 8th grade parents to participate in decorating the gym and cleaning up. Please go to SignUpGenius: Graduation Events.

3. ORDER!! ORDER!! ORDER!!

Order your student a Class of 2018  sweatshirt and t-shirt. Please go to CLASS OF 2018 to order you sweatshirt or t-shirt. This store closes on April 10th.
