We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and wanted to send a quick reminder to think of Kennedy on this #GivingTuesday.
Kennedy has joined this global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.
Occurring this year on November 28, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday) to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities. It’s a great opportunity to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
Make a contribution today to the Kennedy Middle School PTO:
Through December 15th, all donations of $10 or more will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Visa Gift Card. And by making a donation now, you are also eligible for a 2017 tax deduction!
With your help, current and new programs will be possible at Kennedy:
Art ● Instrumental Music ● Drama ● Physical Fitness ● After School Clubs ● Chrome Books for Every Student ● 8th Grade Graduation Celebration ● STEAM Program & Fair ● Family Center Support providing counseling services for students and families
Making your donation online is fast, easy, and secure. All online donations are handled through PayPal. You can also drop off your check or cash donation in the PTO Mail Box in the school office, or mail your donation to Kennedy PTO, Attn: Treasurer, 2521 Goodwin Ave, Redwood City, CA 94061.
Many companies provide a Matching Gift program to employees. Some companies will provide a 100% match, thereby doubling the value of your gift. If you don’t see your employer’s name listed, check with your HR department or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for considering our amazing Kennedy community. We are grateful for all of our wonderful students and all of their supporting family members and Kennedy teachers and staff.
